On the evening of Wednesday 31st May, a packed house at All Saints Church heard the renowned historical biographer and novelist, Alison Weir, give a fascinating talk about her latest novel in the Six Tudor Queens series, 'Anne Boleyn'.

Alison spoke for about 45 minutes before talking questions from the audience.  She then signed copies of her books, both the new series and a range of titles from her backlist while audience members enjoyed a glass of wine and a chat.

Alison and her husband stayed at the Holm House Hotel in Penarth, before travelling on to the Hay Festival the following morning, where we are sure she found an equally appreciative audience!
