Jane Mullins is a dementia nurse consultant who has devoted 25 years to the study and practice of dementia care. Her extensive experience is backed up by expert knowledge gained from attending conferences, keeping up to date with research, lecturing and studying for her PhD. Her book 'Finding the Light in Dementia' is an essential book that explains common changes that can occur in those living with dementia.

Liz Webb-Hooper was educated at South Glamorgan Institute of Higher Education and UWCN. After twenty years lecturing and externally verifying in Beauty and Holistic Therapy she now works in Quality Assurance for Cardiff and Vale in Creative Industries and Digital Media. Her book 'Pennies From Heaven' is a personal account of caring for her father who lived with dementia for the last three years of his life.

During the event, Liz and Jane will talk about their experiences with dementia from their two different perspectives, and then come together to discuss how stay connected with people living with dementia, whether you are a loved one, a professional or a business owner looking to make your business more accessible.
